The future of flying cars is moving forward curiously

I’ve written and posted a few pieces (here, here, and here) about the future of “flying cars” and the rapidly changing face of transportation, but  ICON A5 is one of the better and most realistic approaches to bringing flight capabilities to the enthusiast marketplace.  A light sport aircraft license will only set you back about $5,000 and the beauty below is a cool $140,000 which is really quite reasonable when you consider that it can land/take-off from both land and water … oh and that a Gulfstream G650 starts at $58 million.

The world’s largest stop motion animation was made with a mobile phone

Two creative teams (Sumo Science and Aardman) took home a high-five from the good people at Guinness World Records for the “world’s largest stop motion animation set” using nothing more than a 40-meter cherry picker and three Nokia N8 mobile phones.  Gulp is an incredible example of what you can do if you set you mind to an incredibly ambitious goal and if you have more time on your hands than I can possibly imagine.  Watch and see.
