Since the dawn of man there has been a war waging between two immovable forces and throughout the ages this war has spilled out into the streets of the unsuspecting world. No, this is not the plot of Priest or any one of the Underworld films (although you deserve some geek cred points for relating to those references). This conflict is better known as the often confusing identity war between geeks and nerds. Growing up in the 1970s and 80s, neither term was considered particularly complimentary when you were on the receiving end (which I often was) but as technology has become more mainstream and “sexy” (thank you Steve Jobs), so too have these terms become acceptable and even popular.
